Former NFL safety Eric Reid, who famously took a knee during the national anthem in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick during their days with the 49ers, is selling his six-bedroom, 7 1/2 bath house in an exclusive New Jersey neighborhood for $1,850,000, according to the Los Angeles Times. Purchased in 2018 for $1,500,000 before he began playing for the Panthers where he continued to take a knee during the anthem, Reid’s house offers “gated…bucolic country living 12 miles” from New York City, according to his realtor, in a 425-acre neighborhood.
In this case, you’re not just buying a house on 2.6 acres. You’re buying into a safe neighborhood for the incredible peaceful life that comes with the purchase price. This is the type of neighborhood where you sit on the patio on a Friday night watching the sun go down and the birds finish up another hard week of sucking down seeds at a dizzying pace.
Reid’s house isn’t just in some random New Jersey suburb. It’s in Llewellyn Park. Thomas Edison used to live here. The Merck and Colgate families lived here. NJ.com once said in a headline: “High-end doesn’t even begin to describe this super-private gated community.”
From Eric Reid’s realtor Robin Wilson from Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty:
English manor-style home designed in the Sir Edwin Luytens architectural style.
Cobbled driveway, 3-level elevator, great room with 16-foot ceiling, apple tree orchard & chef kitchen, home office. Family activity wing w/ en-suite gym, library & playroom. 2 powder rooms; jack-jill bath on 2nd floor. Master has 2 en-suite baths. Au pair guest suite w/ cedar closet. Loft attic w/ wet bar & twin VELUX cambria balcony windows.
5 fireplaces w/ Georgian & regency mantels, marble floors, Terrazzo floor, 19×32 living room w/ 18-foot cathedral ceilings. Antique doors, steam shower. Garage access via private garden courtyard. Pool plans available. Underground lawn sprinkler.
It sure looks like some quiet living in this super-secure location.
Mortgage: $12,000/mo. before you hire gardeners to take care of all the trees and grass.

I usually love the real estate photos and articles. But this one actually made me sick. Reid is such a hypocrite. He purchased a home in the area of the .001% and yet claims that America is racist and evil. He lives among the elite of the elite. 🙁
You have to understand ChiefsGirl15: how can one truly express and convey oppression and systemic whateverness in substandard accommodations!?
Yeah this minority has a lot to complain about what a fucking phony POS and its in New Jersey hell no
He should give it to illegals
Race grifting pays well.
Fireplace in the bathroom is pretty awesome.
This racist fuck, along with racist Maxine Waters and that dyke who started BLM all buy homes surrounded by the the very people they hate, whites. Live with your own people, hypocrites.
