PacMan Is Not Fighting Either Of the Paul Brothers, Only Wants To Build His Legacy

Eight-division world champ Manny Pacquiao doesn't have the time for TikTok Mike Tysons or any online influencer matchups that have been popularized by the Paul Bros.

Despite the brothers' desperate bids to sign marquee names in boxing and MMA — adding to a list that includes Floyd Mayweather and Tyron Woodley — one name that Logan and Jake Paul can leave off their list is 42-year-old Manny Pacquiao.

When asked if he would participate a fight against one of the Paul's, Pacquiao's honest take and answer addressed the core dilemma with legitimate boxers taking on these fights: the lack of skill involved.

"No, I will not. I will not. I want to fight the best to add on to my legacy," said Pacquiao, in an interview with TMZ Sports.

"I’m not underestimating Paul, but he’s, he doesn’t have a lot of experience of boxing. So, in that point, he’s already, disadvantage for him to fight in boxing."

Noted rival Floyd Mayweather has already laced his gloves against a Paul brother, fighting eldest sibling Logan back in June. The fight reportedly made Money Mayweather an estimated $35 million. Which seems to be the only appeal for true boxers.

Valuing his contributions to the sport of boxing over clout chasing with the Paul's, the Pac Man sounded preoccupied with his upcoming bout against Errol Spence, while leaving the door open for a rematch against Floyd Mayweather — which bears a greater impact on the boxer's tale over pursuing fights with social media sluggers.
