Bills QB Josh Allen Takes Unnecessary, But Hilarious Jab At NFC East

If you have kept up with the NFL this season, then you probably understand how terrible the NFC East has been. The New York Giants are leading the division with only a 4-7 record, and the four teams are a combined 14-29.

When you're that bad, it is going to present opportunities for others to take jabs. That is exactly what happened when Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen joined the Pat McAfee Show on Friday.

Allen was asked how he feels about the AFC East and his 8-3 squad. His response started off in a normal way, but the former No. 7 overall pick couldn't help himself. He took the opportunity to address the struggles the league's other East division in a not-so-subtle way.

"Why not us? But again, we're sitting at 8-3 and eight wins doesn't you the division unless you're ... in the NFC East."

At this point, we just appreciate the honesty from Allen. We're the ones out here having to struggle to get through primetime games between these teams, so to have someone acknowledge our pain is appreciated.

The Bills only have a one-game lead on the Miami Dolphins (7-4) following Week 12, so there is still plenty of work that needs to be done. And sure, the NFC East is also still a competitive division, but it's not even remotely the same thing.

If it wasn't for the winless New York Jets (0-11), the AFC East might be be considered one of the deeper divisions in the NFL. Maybe.
