Official Big Ten Schedule has arrived

College football feels a little closer to becoming a thing again, as the Big Ten has announced its revised 2021 schedule.

According to the B1G, the schedule was updated for the purpose of accommodating six games that needed location adjustments. Those games are as follows:

Although opponents seem familiar, location and dates are the biggest change in the revised schedule.

Week 0: Aug. 28

Nebraska and Illinois are slated to play in Ireland, but there is a chance the game will be moved back to the U.S. due to COVID-19 safety concerns. This game was originally an Illinois home game.

Week 1: Sept. 4

Illinois will host UTSA, Nebraska will have a bye and Northwestern will host Michigan State. Purdue will host Oregon State and Indiana will travel to Iowa. Maryland will host WVU and Michigan will host WMU.

Michigan State will travel to face Northwestern and Ohio State will travel to face Minnesota in a Thursday game. Penn State will travel to face Wisconsin and Rutgers will host Temple.

Week 2: Sept. 11

Illinois will travel to face UVA and Iowa will travel to face Iowa State. Minnesota will host Miami (Ohio) and Nebraska will host Buffalo. Northwestern will host Indiana State and Purdue will travel to face UConn.

Wisconsin will host EMU and Indiana will host Idaho. Maryland will host Howard and Michigan will host Washington. Michigan State will host YSU and Ohio State will host Oregon. Penn State will host Ball State and Rutgers will travel to face Syracuse.

Week 3: Sept. 18

Illinois will host Maryland and Iowa will host Kent State. Minnesota will travel to Colorado and Nebraska travel to OU. Northwestern will travel to Duke and Purdue will travel to face Notre Dame.

Wisconsin will have a bye and Indiana will host Cincinnati. Maryland will travel to Illinois and Michigan will host NIU. Michigan State will travel to Miami and Ohio State will host Tulsa. Penn State will host Auburn and Rutgers will host Delaware.

Week 4: Sept 25

Illinois will travel to face Purdue and Iowa will travel to face Colorado State. Minnesota will host BGSU and Nebraska will travel to face Michigan State. Northwestern will host Ohio and Wisconsin will host Notre Dame.

Indiana will travel to face WKU and Maryland will host Kent State. Ohio State will host Akron. Penn State will host Villanova and Rutgers will travel to Michigan.

Week 5: Oct. 2

Illinois will host Charlotte and Iowa will travel to Maryland. Minnesota will travel to Purdue and Nebraska will host Northwestern. Wisconsin will host Michigan and Indiana will travel to Penn State. Michigan State will host WKU and Ohio State will travel to Rutgers.

Week 6: Oct. 9

Illinois will host Wisconsin and Iowa will host Penn State. Minnesota will have a bye, and Nebraska will host Michigan. Northwestern, Purdue and Indiana will have a bye. Maryland will travel to Ohio State and Michigan State will host Rutgers.

Week 7: Oct. 16

Illinois will have a bye and Iowa will host Purdue. Minnesota will host Nebraska and Northwestern will host Rutgers. Wisconsin will travel to Army and Indiana will host Michigan State. Maryland and Michigan will have a bye, and Ohio State and Penn State will have a bye.

Week 8: Oct. 23

Illinois will travel to Penn State and Iowa has a bye. Minnesota will host Maryland and Nebraska has a bye. Northwestern will travel to Michigan and Purdue will host Wisconsin. Indiana will host Ohio State, and Michigan State and Rutgers have a bye.

Week 9: Oct. 30

Illinois will host Rutgers and Iowa will travel to Wisconsin. Minnesota will travel to Northwestern and Nebraska will host Purdue. Indiana will travel to Maryland and Michigan will host Michigan State. Ohio State will travel to Penn State.

Week 10: Nov. 6

Illinois will travel to Minnesota and Iowa will travel to Northwestern. Nebraska will host Ohio State and Northwestern will host Iowa. Purdue will host Michigan State and Wisconsin will travel to Rutgers. Michigan will host Indiana and Penn State will travel to Maryland.

Week 11: Nov. 13

Illinois has a bye and Iowa will host Minnesota. Wisconsin will host Northwestern and Nebraska will host SE Louisana. Michigan State will host Maryland and Ohio State will host Purdue. Penn State will host Michigan and Rutgers will travel to Indiana.

Week 12: Nov. 20

Illinois will travel to Iowa and Minnesota will host Indiana. Nebraska will travel to Wisconsin and Northwestern will host Purdue. Maryland will host Michigan and Michigan State will travel to face Ohio State. Penn State will travel to face Rutgers.

Week 13: Nov. 27

Illinois will host Northwestern and Iowa will travel to Nebraska for a Friday game. Minnesota will host Wisconsin and Purdue will host Indiana. Maryland will travel to Rutgers and Michigan will host Ohio State. Michigan State will host Penn State.

Week 14: Dec. 4

The Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis, Indiana.
