Apparently, the Biden administration is unhappy with the vaccination rates in the United States. After falling well short of their goal to have 70 percent of the adult population vaccinated in this country by the Fourth of July, they are about to take a new approach to get those numbers up.
On Tuesday, President Biden himself revealed a plan to remedy that problem. That plan entails taking a literal door-by-door approach to check on the vaccination status of individuals in this country. No, I’m not kidding. Check it out for yourself.
“Now we need to go community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood and oftentimes door-to-door, literally knocking on doors, to get help to the remaining people protected from the virus,” Biden said, via Fox News.

Think the president just misspoke there? Well, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said something similar, which means there is no mistaking the intent or what is being proposed by the Biden administration.

There will be those saying that this isn’t a forced vaccination ploy, that it’s just a way to educate individual Americans on their available options. And sure, that could be true. But do we really think a “Yeah, I’m not taking the vaccine” type statement will be met with a “No problem, thank you for your time” type response? Color me skeptical.
And either way, it’s not the government’s job. Taking this sort of approach isn’t going to rally those who are skeptical or who are second-guessing the vaccine. In fact, it will likely have the opposite effect. Those feeling forced to do something often just run in the opposite direction.
The Biden administration’s plan has been met with extreme criticism on social media, especially from several GOP lawmakers.
How about don’t knock on my door.
You’re not my parents. You’re the government. Make the vaccine available, and let people be free to choose.
Why is that concept so hard for the left? https://t.co/Fkv3kzNh6S

Whoever suggested that the best way to reach remaining vaccine skeptics was to talk about going door to door should be fired immediately.

A lot of people have big government antibodies. Don’t knock on those doors. https://t.co/xHmJRhAAxq

A good first step to breaking through to the vaccine hesitant is obtaining full FDA approval of the vaccines.

It's NONE of the governments business knowing who has or hasn't been vaccinated. https://t.co/XgjYggRUFh

The government now wants to go door-to-door to convince you to get an “optional” vaccine.

I have a feeling this is going to end well.

Nah I am good. Glad my neighborhood doesn’t allow door to door solicitors.
And that works in your neighborhood??
Actually pretty well because people will respectfully let the door to door salespeople that hey you can’t solicit here go away. In 5 and 1/2 years of living in my neighborhood I have seen maybe 5 door to door salesmen.
People still sell door-to-door? Like encyclopedias?
Pest control. Roofing. Lawn care. General scam “fund raising”.
What Robb said. It’s not vacuums and tupperwear anymore but more modern scams.
I wonder how many homes with “Protected by Smith & Wesson” signs they’ll approach.
Wonder if this just the beginning to see how people react to federal government knocking on doors without probably cause.
You’ve got it all wrong; it won’t be HHS employees doing the knocking. There will be funds made available to “community organizations” to do it. They’ll be given some cursory thing to sign making them swear they won’t misuse the names, ages, and vaccination status of everyone in my house, and that way the talking heads will be able to say, “Well it’s not actually the government doing it.”
The Hitler Youth was just a community organization sponsored by the Nazi Party, not actually the government, so it’s cool, amirite? Helping the community stick together, deal with threats to the community, etc.
Exactly, WM, and in my best Jimmy Malone, what … are we … prepared … to do … in … return?
remember this shit come mid-term elections. Big Brother digging deeper into your life.
distract, Distract, DISTRACT…..
from the one thing ain’t nobody ‘posed to to talk about:
ELECTION FRAUD
Oh, by the way:
if your phone rings, must you answer?
If there’s a knock on your door, must you open it?
TRUMP WON
I don’t answer my door unless I am expecting someone. What’s their next step if this happens? Will they knock down your door?
So let’s see, during the campaign both President Biden and his trusty sidekick, the Cackler both issued statements citing concern about trusting then President Trump relative to the efficacy of the vaccine. Post election, it turns out that President Trump was not personally mixing the vaccine in the WH galley at 2 am thereby rendering it perfectly safe. There is going to likely be significant pushback to this and I envision Ms. Psaki furiously leafing through one of her binders to come up a coherent answer to all of this. Thank goodness for federalism. For those living in blue states, maybe not so much.
The predictability of all of these “steps” has been frightening. They are going off of a very obvious playbook from history and half the country is just eating it up. Sad day for our country. And btw, stay the hell off my property.
That would be ill-advised, I think, where I live.
Imagine drawing this assignment in either extreme rural or extreme urban America. Can you imagine going door to door in inner city Chicago, Detroit, LA, New York or rural TN, AL, GA, TX? No thanks.
Right? Hell, in some of these places they shoot at census-takers.
Why not just put a box for people to check on their tax returns, man the government loves to waste taxpayer money
What about the southern border where all these people from who knows where carrying who knows what diseases no problemo don’t even check em but yeah lets hassle American citizens some more something really really wrong with this admin
Another colossal waste of money by the idiot in chief
And the vaccine they want everyone to slam into their bodies is still NOT FDA approved this should be illegal right out of the gate
On second thought, this program should be piloted first. Every family member of everyone in the current administration should be vetted relative to their vaccination status and a full accounting including responses of the individual subjects should be revealed to the American public. If the president and his handlers are serious about this, then their family members need to go first…
Me likey.
Knock knock.
Click-clack
Jehovah’s Witnesses for vaccinations?
Nah, America isn’t at all on the decline.
Bro, to bring up JH as the relative salvation of the USA… When did we think we’d ever get here?
What Americans really hate is people clearly not as intelligent as them telling them what to do, which is this entire administration. If some 24-year old hack knocks on my door to educate me about the vaccine, I plan on educating him/her on socialism.
