Super Bowl LVI Receiving Prop Bets
If you all followed along with me on these bets, you made a ton of money on the Bengals during these playoffs. We cashed over 10 units on their futures alone. That doesn’t count the moneyline and spread bets we’ve hit on them. Now we get them for one more game in the Super Bowl. There is never a shortage of betting opportunities on this game, so over the next two weeks we will be sharing different props and sides to bet on for the big game.
Today we will focus on receiving props. With Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow the main focuses of these teams offenses we should be looking at a great opportunity for receivers to get a ton of yardage. Let’s get right to it and see who we can bet on with receiving props.
We are going to start with Cooper Kupp. He’s been outstanding this season and will likely be the Offensive Player of the Year. He racked up yardage and touchdowns at an insane rate and in my opinion, should show no signs of stopping unless he gets injured. There is no possibility I am taking the under on his yardage total. It is a high 105.5 at -114, but Stafford is absolutely going to look for his security blanket as often as possible. With Kupp getting 7, 11, and 14 targets so far in the three games, I don’t expect there to be a lack of opportunity for him.
I also will play Odell Beckham to get over his total. I think this is too low for him. You can throw on the Bengals, but it isn’t the most exploitable option for an offense every game. Just look at how difficult it was for Mahomes to throw on them in the second half of the AFC Championship. The difference here is that these receivers have been getting separation no matter who they play. Beckham has gotten over the 62.5 total he has in the last two games, and came close in the opener against the Cardinals.
On the Bengals side of the ball, I am leaning and almost there with the under on Ja’Maar Chase. He has been great in the playoffs and was great during the regular season. In the Super Bowl, I’d expect Jalen Ramsey to shadow him. That doesn’t mean he couldn’t beat the total of 78.5 yards, but it will make it more difficult. If they move Chase around, and Ramsey stays on one side of the field, Chase should have a better opportunity. After all, I can’t imagine that the game comes and the Bengals decide to be a run-heavy team. I’d expect Burrow to throw 35 times or more. But, I’ll play the under on Chase simply because of Ramsey.
One last one, and this is a direct correlation to that previous paragraph – Tee Higgins should go over his receiving total. He has been hot since the end of November and racking up yardage. Higgins is at just 69.5 yards and I am shocked that it isn’t higher. He’s gone over that in the last two playoff games. Against the Raiders he only had one catch on four targets. I’ll play his over with comfort.
