Stars Come Out At Home, Making Bucks A Safe Bet Again
One thing we've learned about the NBA playoffs is there is no telling what will happen next. That's carried over to the Finals, where as soon as it looked like the Phoenix Suns might run away with it ... the Milwaukee Bucks stepped forward.
That's the way it often goes when a team gets a home game, and that's what happened in Game 3 in Milwaukee. The Bucks came to life and trimmed the series deficit to 2-1.
And guess where Game 4 will also be held? Yep, Milwaukee. So why should you again pick the Bucks? Well, here is a consistent truth about the NBA: stars such as the Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and Suns' Chris Paul play well anywhere. The role players are the ones who often struggle mightily on the road.
By the way, Antetokounmpo became just the second player to record 40-plus points and 10-plus rebounds in consecutive Finals games. So, yes, the stars come out when it means the most, and that is yet another reason to lean toward Milwaukee in Game 4.
Anyway, the Bucks are a -4.5, and this one could indeed be closer than their 20-point win in Game 3. But probably not a whole lot. So go ahead and go with the Bucks, and again take the under on the over-under of 221. It's true that Game 3 missed that mark by a measly point, but there will likely be even more defense this time around.
