Same Game Parlay: Sixers-Hawks Game 2

Same Game Parlays are hard. You would think because of the correlation of everything, it might be a bit easier. It is not. But, thankfully, FanDuel Sportsbook is offering a refund on up to a $10 bet on an NBA Same Game Parlay. So, we can risk a little, to earn a lot, and if we lose, we get refunded. Today is also the last day of this promotion, so lets try! 

Trae Young had 48 points in Game 1. I don’t expect him to even get to 30 in this one. The Bucks aren’t an amazing team, but they are certainly smart enough not to let Young destroy them every game. They are going to force someone else to beat them. I’m going to start this out with Young getting under 29.5 points tonight. Remember, we are trying to find plus money plays that are somewhat likely, and as of this writing, he is even money. 

Khris Middleton was a dumpster fire of a shooter in Game 1. I would have been just about as effective from the three-point line where he shot 0-9. He’s a good shooter normally though. I expect him to respond from that embarrassment and get closer to his average. He’s a 35% shooter. So if he takes seven threes this game -- 16 total in the series -- he'd have to hit six of his seven attempts tonight to maintain that average. Not highly likely. But, I’ll take that he hits four or more.

Clint Capela grabbed 19 rebounds in Game 1. This is another eye-popping stat that I can’t imagine happens again. I’m going to go out on a limb and take him at under 12.5 rebounds. My only justification is that he’s had 12 boards or fewer in seven of the 12 games that Atlanta has played in the playoffs. 

If you’ve read any of these posts about the Bucks when they were playing the Nets, you’d know I love playing Lopez to hit 2+ threes. I’m going to play it again, as he is at +160 tonight to do it. This isn’t incredible value, but it is still plus money for something that I think has about a 50% chance of happening.    

My last play is for Kevin Hueter to get 15+ points tonight for the Hawks. I already mentioned that I don’t expect Young to get to 30 points, so points will need to come from somewhere. Hueter has played well these playoffs, and I think he gets to 15 or more tonight.

Add in Bogdan Bogdanovic to score first at +900 and the odds increase to +61608 where a $10 bet pays $6,160.80 if we win and $10 if we lose.
