Giannis is going to get some points tonight. He either will score a ton or go down trying in the next two games. I’m starting this parlay with Giannis getting 35+ points tonight. He’s almost certainly going to get 30 points and if this is a close game, he may just be fouled until they let him score another five at the line… which could take 10 attempts based on his shooting. In any case, 35 is not much of a stretch, so I’m happy to play this.
Devin Booker is also going to score a lot of points tonight. I’m considering playing him to get to 40 points, because, well, there aren’t enough other Suns who can make a difference. I’m going to stick with him getting to 35 points tonight. He’s had 40 or more in back-to-back games after his 10-point performance. He will look to continue his scoring tonight as he fights to keep the Suns alive for a Game 7.
Jae Crowder has been great for the Suns. He’s had games where he shot lights out from deep, and some where he has really struggled. I’m not uber-confident in this, but I like Crowder to hit under 2.5 threes. Part of the lack of confidence is that in two games in Milwaukee, he shot 9-16 from behind the line. In his three games at home, he’s been 5 for 14. So, he is obviously taking more attempts and shooting better on the road. My reasoning is that I think Booker and Paul take more shots than normal tonight so as not to let the “role players” be the reason for a loss.
Giannis didn’t pull down 10+ rebounds for the first time in the series last game, and the Bucks still won. I think that is an anomaly in comparison to most of his games. His rebounding and transition game make a huge difference. I think he rebounds, pun intended, from the down statistical performance tonight and grabs 14+ boards.
DeAndre Ayton has had three games of 2+ blocks in the series so far. I think his commitment to the defensive end will make a difference in the game. I’m going to add Ayton at 2+ blocks for tonight. As the Bucks look to penetrate and make things happen around the basket, Ayton should have more opportunities to capture these for us.
