Outkick Bets: Tuesday Bets That Will Pay

Tampa Rays/Toronto Blue Jays UNDER 9 (-115)
We are looking at an inflated number tonight between the division rivals. Tampa tosses a bullpen matchup beginning with Drew Rasmussen, a righty that poses a 2.73 ERA on the road which is a full two runs better than his numbers at home. He's pitched four consecutive games of at least four innings before allowing the bullpen, the 4th best in the AL in ERA and 5th in batting average, to come in and mop up.
Toronto sends Jose Berrios to counter and he comes in tossing seven quality starts in his last nine outings and then when he gives way, the 5th best bullpen in the American League in ERA and 4th in batting average. Seems to me, we got ourselves an old-fashioned 4-3 game and I will demand credit for an exact score prediction, but outside of that, I love the under.
Houston Astros/Texas Rangers OVER 9 (-110)
The Houston Astros have bats made of literal fire right now. Seriously, go look at one right now and then come back and finish this. They boast the 2nd best average in the league in the last two weeks and they'll go against Jordan Lyles, someone who will be plenty bruised AGAIN after facing the 'stros for the third time this season. His previous two featured a .326 average allowed, 9 runs in 10.1 innings allowed and also, how about this, FIVE HOMERS ALLOWED! Houston may get this on their own. Everything is bigger in Texas, right? That includes tonight's total as I will play the OVER.
San Francisco Giants -1.5 (+120)
This one might get ugly. The Padres are pitching Jake Arietta who is a minor disaster this season on the bump, despite a quality start eleven days ago. The guy is getting hammered, inside the friendly confines and out. On the road? 6.99 ERA. He's only pitched twice in the last month and given up eight runs in eight innings and in his only start against San Francisco, he allow six runs in just two innings.
Anthony Descalfani pitches for the Giants and he's been money all season against the Padres, tossing three quality starts in all three games and stifling the Padres to a .186 average against. I'll just add quietly here, the Giants are 3rd in average in the past two weeks, 2nd in hits and runs and for the Padres... they are batting, in that same time span, fifty-four points below them. Let's grab some plus-plus.
