Outkick Bets: Sunday Funday for Mon-Ay

We are blessed with some huge games on the docket including divisional battles, division supremacy contests, NFL king makers and a dud or two to take out money. This, for me, is the most fun and intriguing week of the season from top-to-bottom so let’s hammer some tickets.
Tennessee -4.5 @ Jacksonville (-114)
This week could not have been more of a random distraction for the home-standing Jags and we can add that on top of a very bad, no good football team on the field. Distractions can rally a team, but Urban Meyer, if you believe the reports, has no traction of respect inside the locker room. As for the game itself, it’s going to be a Derrick Henry fright fest. Henry, in ten games against Jacksonville, has over 1000 yards rushing, a dozen touchdowns, 99-yard runs and more. The Jaguars have allowed the 2nd most rushing scores on the season. Expect the King to reign.
The Bengals are happy to be 3-1 (who wouldn’t be) but judging them this far has been a little tricky. Two of their three wins are against teams that are far from great (Steelers & Jags) and the other was Minnesota and their loss… to the Bears? Green Bay is holding a hot hand after winning three-in-a-row and is 3-1 ATS (also three-in-a-row). Give me Aaron Rodgers, on the road, against a team they are a touchdown better than.
This is a strong number for two offenses we have seen be silly in short and long stretches. These two have combined for 33 touchdowns on offense. Geez. Buffalo’s last five games as an underdog all went over the total. The Chiefs are 3-1 to the over this year and while Buffalo is 1-3 to the over, they’ve played pathetic offenses in those three unders. We want points on Sunday night and I think we will get them.
