We have had a lot to digest this week, on and off the field and now we are ready to make our Sunday bank.

Las Vegas Raiders +4.5 @ Denver Broncos (-114)

Last week I rallied behind Vegas again, despite my pure pushback internally, and I was wrong. I was so wrong that I added the Raiders to my list. No more Vegas! Then, everything changed when Jon Gruden resigned. Normally, it’s not the greatest of teams that have a coach leaving his perch but clearly this is different. The Raiders are supremely talented on offense and I am going to the well one more time because maybe, just maybe the head coach was the problem. I think their team is too good to lose to the Broncos but the question will be answered this week: are the Raiders going to soar without this albatross? I think so, at least this week.

Baltimore -2.5 vs. Los Angeles Chargers (-114)

This is an elite game for an early slot and there is my rub. The matchup itself is actually pretty even. Both teams are sturdy and opportunistic defensively and on the other side of the ball, it’s electric city. So in the absence of any glaring deficiencies, I gotta side with the home team that is welcoming another from the West Coast and at Noon? I’ll play the Lamar Jackson side in this spot.

Kansas City Chiefs -6.5 @ Washington Football Team (-106)

I can’t give up on Kansas City yet. It’s much too early especially considering their weaponry. I think we’ve found a good spot to get a good number this week because of their struggles. Patrick Mahomes is better than WFT by a touchdown, period.
