Outkick Bets: NFL's First Week of Winners
The brand new season started off with a bang on Thursday with the Dallas Cowboys covering the ridiculous 9.5-point spread. Now, we are off to the races with 15 matchups still to contend, 14 coming on Sunday. Let's rake.
I am Captain Titans in 2021 primarily because they are about to make a lot of people look dumb but I won't be one of them. Tennessee's offense is squared up to be just as potent as last season (4th in the NFL) and the addition of Julio Jones is just gravy. They've added Bud Dupree and Janoris Jenkins in an effort to sure-up a defense that allowed the 24th most points per game a season ago. Arizona is fine, maybe even a little good, but the Titans are contenders and opening up in Nashville, expect the cover.
Dolphins @ Patriots under 21.5, 1ST HALF (+105)
A new era again in New England for Mac Jones and the potential for a long-term one for Tua makes for an interesting matchup. Also on that matchup, two top-ten defenses from last year that have gotten even better in this offseason. I like Brian Flores to scheme-up some brain-teasers for the rookie's first start and I think the Patriots will flat-out get after the Dolphins entire team. The game under is a solid play, but let's get some plus-money on this first half.
Rams moneyline (-375) vs. Bears
This play is for the NEW FANDUEL SPORTSBOOK USERS ONLY because right now if you bet $5 on ANY Week 1 winner in the NFL, you get a sweet, sweet $200! This game is fun for all the wrong reasons: 1) the Bears offensive line is terrible and Aaron Donald still plays for the Rams, 2) Matt Stafford is about to show out on a lot of teams this season with more weapons (plural, I remember Calvin geez) than he's ever had and 3) it's an easy dub to start the year. NEW USERS DO THIS NOW! TAKE THE MONEY!
