Week 10 is here and we suddenly are into the back half of the NFL season. We already had a brutal game with the Ravens losing to the Dolphins on Thursday night. What will this weekend bring us? Here are my best bets for this Sunday’s slate of games.

Saints at Titans

Even with Jameis Winston, I would’ve thought this game would have a higher line than 2.5. Now the Saints are using Trevor Siemian as their quarterback. They just lost to the Falcons team that is considerably worse than the Titans, and the rumor is that Alvin Kamara will not play. I love the Titans in this spot, the biggest question to me is why is the line available at this number. I feel like it should be seven or higher. I know they don’t have Derrick Henry and are off a big win over the Los Angeles Rams, but the Titans' defense has been significantly better lately. I’m taking the Titans to cover this spread. Hopefully, this isn’t one of those situations where the line is too good to be true. Titans -2.5 at -118.

Lions at Steelers

The Lions defense gives up a lot of points per game – 30 on average – but it isn’t like the Steelers offense is what it once was. They still have good pieces, and they have talent, but there is always a chance that Ben Roethlisberger has a bad performance and doesn’t move the all effectively. I think that happens Sunday. The Steelers injury report hasn’t given me much hope that they are a healthy team, I think they are going to try and get through this game with as little effort needed to win. This actually seems like a game the Lions could win outright at the value given, I’ll take them at +300 to win outright. The chances are small, but hey, any given Sunday…

Chiefs at Raiders

The Chiefs are not the high-flying offense we’ve become accustomed to. In their last three games, they’ve combined to score 36 points. They averaged nearly 30 points per game last year. Defenses are getting smarter, the Chiefs have gone to the AFC Conference Championship three consecutive years, maybe they are just tired and this is a bad year for them. The Raiders are also in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. That really isn’t anything different for this dysfunctional organization. They came out after the Henry Ruggs incident and lost at the Giants. They always get up for the Chiefs, but I don’t think either team is playing well offensively right now. I’m taking the under on the game: 52.5 at -114.
