NFL Best Bets for Tuesday, December 21, 2021

We are having a really nice NFL week even if there is complete chaos and turmoil. We were able to pounce on the Raiders when they were underdogs, and if you took the Browns with the +3 when it changed, you got the opportunity to middle the game. Then in the later game, we hit Justin Jefferson at +460 to score the first touchdown. We have two more games tonight, let’s see what we can bet on in these.

Football Team at Eagles

This game has a ton of question marks, just like seemingly every other single professional sporting event lately. The Washington Football Team hasn’t announced a starter yet, but just judging on their depth chart, it would appear to be Garrett Gilbert who had one start last season, a 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Do you want to back a guy you’ve likely never heard of? Me either. I assume that Jalen Hurts will play for the Eagles tonight, but there are rumblings that Gardner Minshew would be the starter. No matter who starts, they likely will be able to put their team in a better position than Gilbert can put the Football Team into. Even comparing COVID and injury reports, the Eagles sheet is significantly cleaner than the Washington opponent. I’m taking the Eagles -6.5 at -114. I will say this, too, I don’t assume this is a cakewalk for the Eagles, this still should be a fairly competitive game.

Seahawks at Rams

Who knows what to predict with these Rams. Games I think they should lose, they win (happened against Arizona just last week.) Games I think they should win, they lose (happened when they went to San Francisco.) I feel like I don’t have a great read on them but I’m going to take another shot on them. The Seahawks are not a good team any longer. I have to imagine this is Pete Carroll’s last season in Seattle. Maybe the Rams will not be excited for this game, or they will have a letdown after the victory over the aforementioned Cardinals. Either way, they are the better team, the better defense, the better coach, and the better offense. I’ll play the Rams -7.
