NBA Same Game Parlay for Knicks vs. Nets
We have some good games on the schedule for the NBA tonight. There are two great matchups on TNT. The Knicks are taking on the Nets in a battle of New York, and the Suns are facing the Warriors in Phoenix in the battle of the best two records in the NBA. Personally, I want nothing to do with the Warriors or Phoenix - way too hard to predict this one. So, we are going to put together a play for the Knicks and Nets.
The Nets are a little banged up without Joe Harris, this changes their rotations and a lot of how their offense is run. But, it gives Patty Mills an opportunity, and he is a knockdown shooter. I enjoy watching Mills play and think he can make a difference in tonight's game. I'm going to take Mills at +104 to hit 4+ threes.
On the other side of town, the Knicks were great last season when they were surprising people, but now they are failing to live up to expectations. I wonder if it is because of Kemba Walker or Evan Fournier, but either way, one of those people has been removed from the equation with Walker being removed from the rotation. I'm playing his replacement, Alec Burks to score over 14.5 points tonight at -116. He's averaging just 10.5 points per game, but with the increased time and role, he should have more opportunity and points coming from him.
I don't know if Mitchell Robinson plays tonight, if he does he would be a good replacement or even addition to this play, but I'm taking Julius Randle over 9.5 rebounds. The Nets are allowing 11.4 rebounds per 48 minutes to Power Forwards. That puts him right about at that number. The Nets rebound well as a team, but they don't have much height. I'll take my shot at this and see if he can get a double-double, something he's done in five of his last seven games.
My last play on this is James Harden to hit 3+ three-pointers. The Knicks struggle against opposing backcourts that shoot threes. Harden hasn't been nearly as good as he was in past years at shooting them, but he still can pour them in if needed.
