Bengals CB Mackensie Alexander Arrested For Battery After Leaving Camp To Look For His Missing Father

Bengals cornerback Mackensie Alexander was arrested Tuesday night by the Collier County (FL) Sheriff’s Office on a misdemeanor batter charge after leaving camp to look for his father who is missing after a berry-picking trip, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports.

Alexander had returned home to Florida after his father went missing and “allegedly confronted the man who left behind his father, Jean Odney Alexandre,” Pelissero added on Twitter.

Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office says Jean Odney Alexandre, 65, and the unidentified man were picking palmetto berries.

Mackensie Alexander signed a one-year contract with the Bengals during the offseason after spending four seasons with the Vikings.

Pelissero reports another man is in custody along with Mackensie Alexander.
