Bama Baseball Out Of SEC Tournament, Awaits NCAA Draw

Alabama's run in the 2021 SEC Tournament came to an end on Friday as the Crimson Tide suffered an 11-0 loss at the hands of No. 4 Tennessee.

The Alabama baseball team will be waiting on pins and needles until Monday morning when the NCAA Regional teams will be announced. Following the matchup with the Vols, the Crimson Tide sits at 31-24 on the season with a combined 14 wins against conference opponents.

The team finished 2-2 in the SEC Tournament this week, losing out to Tennessee. Alabama defeated South Carolina 9-3 in game one, beat Tennessee 3-2 in 11 innings in game two, before losing 7-2 to Florida and the Vol’s to be eliminated, SB Nation reports.

Many believe Crimson Tide's 31-24 record and a highly ranked strength of schedule will be enough for the team to receive a bid.

The section show is scheduled to air on ESPN2 on Monday, May 31 at 11 a.m. CT.
