If you haven’t yet heard of Arch Manning — nephew of Peyton and Eli, son of Cooper — you should start to get acquainted, because it’s almost certain we’re going to be hearing about him a lot as he starts to enter the college football recruiting cycle. Manning, a rising sophomore at Isadore Newman High School in New Orleans, has apparently grown since the last time we saw him. Jeff Duncan of The Athletic notes:
Thanks to a growth spurt and some diligent work in the weight room, Newman QB Arch Manning has gone from 6-1, 165 pounds to almost 6-3 and 190 this summer, according to Cooper & Archie Manning. He looks primed for a big sophomore season at Newman, assuming there is one in 2020.

247 does not have a star ranking for Manning yet, but notes that interested schools include Ole Miss in the warm category and Duke, Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee in the cool category. He had 34 touchdown passes, 6 interceptions, a 65.5% completion percentage, and 12.6 yards per attempt as a freshman.
Here is his highlights mix tape from last season:
It’s about as sure a bet as possible that we will see him playing on Saturdays in a few years, and Sundays likewise would not be astonishing.
