AP Top 25: Michigan Jumps to No. 2, No. 5 Oklahoma State Improves

Michigan (11-1) jumped to the No. 2 spot — from its previous No. 6 ranking — in the AP Top 25 Poll released Sunday. No. 5 Oklahoma State (11-1) made the top five — from its previous No. 7 spot — for the first time since 2015.

For the eighth straight week, the Georgia Bulldogs (12-1) landed the No. 1 spot, with Cincinnati (12-0) improving to No. 3 and Alabama (11-1) falling to No. 4, despite the Crimson Tide beating Auburn in four overtime on Saturday.

Notre Dame (11-1) dropped to No. 6, while Ohio State (10-2) fell five spots to No. 7 after the Wolverines beat the Buckeyes.

No. 8 Ole Miss (10-2), No. 9 Baylor (10-2) and No. 10 Oregon (10-2) rounded out the top 10.

I guess I’m happy for Harbawl .I couldn’t take another year of whining.My fearless leader says all of Spartan nation has to hold their nose,keep the puke bucket handy and root for the dandelions to beat Iowa . That would improve our chances of snatching a New Years Day bowl. With everyone back and healthy it would be fitting for K-9 to win the Heisman on national tv .

    • I don’t like the old potato farmer at all, but I do have to give him credit for bringing Michigan back to championship levels. I think it’s good for the Big 10. Hope Iowa beats them though. And, there’s less than a year now until OSU can get them back for yesterday.
