Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — calling her “AOC” is “disrespectful” but buy her $65 “AOC” shirts now — would “never ever” ask you to do something she isn’t willing to do herself.
On Instagram, Ocasio-Cortez recorded a video of herself getting a COVID-19 vaccine and filling out a questionnaire.
Here is Ocasio-Cortez, 31, getting a shot on video:
“I have a little muscle soreness in my arm which is not unusual with any shot. The second thing that I’m feeling is fatigue — but also, it’s been a really long time since I had a break,” she says.
She also gave an analogy of the differences between the mRNA vaccine and traditional inoculation:
“It’s kind of like the difference between if you had a burglar and then he broke into your house and you learn to fight him versus if someone gave you a picture of the burglar… if you see that picture and you see that guy walking towards your house, you’re like, ‘Oh I know that guy, he’s a burglar,’” the 31-year-old said.
Got that?
A number of her of 8.2 million IG followers questioned why she, at the age of 31, should get the vaccine before the country’s most vulnerable.
“AOC, I love you, but I’m a nurse and I’m still waiting to get mine so what exactly qualifies politicians to get a vaccine before healthcare workers?” a follower asked.
“Why are you getting this before health care workers? I put breathing tubes in people’s airways for 13 hrs a day,” another followed.
“This feels as self-serving as every other politician. It’s disappointing and a slap in the face to those of us who have showed up since March to care for others. National Security won’t be impacted by my shifts this week with COVID patients at an all time high in the hospital and no vaccine in sight.. but I’ll still providing anesthesia to very sick people and not seeing my family while politicians get prioritized over me and my coworkers. Enjoy your time off with your vaccine.. I’ll be standing in the n95 for 13+hrs a day.”
Ocasio-Cortez says members of the House of Representatives were being “urged to take [the vaccine] as part of the government’s plan in accordance with national security protocols.”
As always, a decision from Washington made to benefit only those in Washington.
AOC is absolutely full of shit. They weren’t be “urged” to take the vaccine…..they did what every Commiecrat in Congress does, they put themselves first over the general public.
Don’t worry, they’ll still all vote for her. The insanity of leftist voters is something I’ll never understand.

Nothing says America is in good hands like a crazy liberal Democrat saying “never ever.” Now, if she would just cross her heart hope to die stick a needle in her eye. Then I would really know she means business. But never ever means she’s pretty serious. I believe her. And what’s up with that analogy? Holy fuck. Is is it some kind of riddle? I have no idea what the fuck that means. I hope to God I’m not the only one.
It must be something she learned on the mean streets of her middle class upbringing. Or maybe something she overheard two drunks in the bar say and she thought hey that’s a good one I will use that analogy some day.
To stop burglary, one must learn to fight the burglar unless you have a picture of the burglar walking down the street. I MEAN COME ON, MAN. ITS SCIENCE!

For somebody so obsessed with criminal justice reform, I love how she now advocates classifying someone as a criminal, based solely on a third person giving her a picture and claiming that person is a criminal, then her seeing the same person walking towards her house. Hurry officer! Throw this person who hasnt done anything in jail, before they get to my house! I was told he’s actually a burglar!
Guess we’ll see her sponsoring a new crime bill any day now.
Hopefully some random American hero slipped some
truth serum into the syringe so she will come clean and admit she is a full throated worshipper of Karl Marx.

Bobby, great article! I laughed at AOC’s burglar analogy to the vaccine. Most of us, depending on our age, have heard Doctors and health professionals tell us countless times how vaccines work. But AOC still feels the need to come up with that ridiculous analogy?!?! As if we didn’t understand how vaccines work?….Hey, AOC, we know how vaccines work. We just don’t trust your lying liberal friends. We don’t trust the liberal media who give us theatrics with doctors pretending to inject empty syringes into each other.
I also wonder if she has a picture of the still vacant lot in Long Island City where the Amazon fulfillment center was supposed to be built, but she helped kill that project. Who needs 25,000 new jobs anyway?
She’s 31 years old and in one of the overall lowest risk categories relative to the virus.
The voters in her district re-elected her by a large margin so shame on them. AOC doesn’t know what she doesn’t know. She talks to hear herself talk. She is the textbook definition of “unserious”.
