In the event you maybe thought fame wasn’t fleeting, well, consider the case of Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards, the No. 1 overall pick in the most recent NBA draft.
Edwards had apparently never heard of baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, who is expected to become a major player in the Timberwolves’ new ownership group.
Now, to be fair, Edwards said he’s not an MLB fan. Plus, the rookie shooting guard was just 15 years old when Rodriguez retired after the 2016 season.
Then again, A-Rod is a 14-time All-Star and future member of the Hall of Fame. He is also engaged to Jennifer Lopez.
Wonder if Edwards has ever heard of her. Maybe, but maybe not, too.
I’m betting he doesn’t know who George Washington, Frederick Douglass, Albert Einstein or Marvin Gaye are either.
Well, George Washington was nothing more than a white racist slave owner… everyone knows that!

I watched that video and now I regret it. How sad it must be to not be able to speak one proper sentence throughout an entire interview. He’d better be good at basketball, because no employer anywhere in the real world would give him a job.
Ummm…what was he trying to accomplish with his hair? It’s not possible to make it look better OR worse!!
