Angels Suspend Mickey Callaway After Allegations of Sexual Harassment

Most in baseball hoped the Angels would fire pitching coach Mickey Callaway after sexual harassment allegations surfaced, but apparently they're playing the slow game. They have suspended Callaway for now, and it seems they will hold out on taking further action until the league completes its investigation into the matter.

Baseball Twitter is livid, but the Angels could not please everyone in this case. If they fired him without a full report, plenty would argue that allegations alone shouldn't cost someone his job.

Expect the Angels to be pressured into eventually firing Callaway, despite their professed plan for patience.
