Tua Tagovailoa Starting To Heat Up At Dolphins Camp, Praise Rolling In

Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the Week 1 starter for the Miami Dolphins, but the future is clear and it includes Tua Tagovailoa taking over the starting job -- soon -- and running with it, according to ESPN Dolphins reporter Cameron Wolfe.

"Great day of practice for Tua Tagovailoa, his best yet," Wolfe tweeted Monday. "He opened it up a bit and threw 3 pretty TDs." Wolfe added that the highlights of the day included Tua connecting with Malcolm Perry on a 69-yard go route bomb, calling it Tua's "best throw of the day."

Wolfe continued his praise of Tua on Tuesday tweeting "we’ve seen a more aggressive, effective and fluid Tua Tagovailoa. He makes an occasional rookie mistake but starting to look a lot like the player we saw at Bama. Another good day today: You can feel the energy out at practice when Tua makes a big play."

Palm Beach Post Dolphins reporter Joe Schad went as far as tweeting that there has been a "swagger increase" from Tua and he's "firing to the sidelines and the middle of the field with uncanny accuracy."

Meanwhile, Josh Rosen, also in the Dolphins quarterback room, has to be wondering what it will take to ever get another shot at starting in the NFL because the roadmap in Miami has apparantely been ripped up and thrown in the trash.
