Trump Talks Biden, COVID, Election and Future Of America At Ohio Rally

Former President Donald Trump addressed familiar themes Saturday night at a rally in Wellington, Ohio before a crowd of thousands of supporters.

The scene at Lorain County Fairgrounds was streamed live by Rumble after Trump announced his verified account on the video-sharing platform. Since his announcement earlier in the day, Trump's account had surpassed 134K followers.

Throughout the evening, addressing a crowd "as far as the eye can see," Trump focused on some of the nation's trending topics, including illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border, critical race theory's inclusion in classrooms and the contested election of 2020.

Trump tackled some of the immediate changes in America that have been a result of the new administration's overturning of Trump-era policies -- changes such as rising gas prices, elimination of the Keystone Pipeline and loss of energy independence.

"We'll be buying our oil from the Middle East again, and we'll be buying it from Russia," said Trump, also noting the 48,000 jobs lost as a result of the Keystone Pipeline's halt in production.

The former President sounded off on the vaccine success enjoyed by President Biden and reopening of America, calling it the result of vaccine created under Trump's Operation Warp Speed.

"When the virus arrived, we produced three vaccines in record time. They said it would take three years, or five years, we got it done in less than nine months."

Trump then touched on the G-7 Summit meeting between world leaders and President Joe Biden, where Biden's performance left many Americans embarrassed by the nation's leadership.

"Joe Biden is squandering all of the hard-earned respect that we have, or had, bowing down to America's enemies and embarrassing our country on the world stage."

He followed up by calling out the mainstream media for their glorified coverage of the Biden visit at G-7 — despite the bad performance — which sent the crowd into a CNN SUCKS chant.

"And they're comparing Biden to FDR. They are fake, they are so fake and pathetic. They're hurting our country very badly. Because they're not real."

Staying on the topic of the vaccine and an ongoing investigation into the Wuhan lab leak, Trump pointed out how his theory on the origins of the COVID-19 virus was accurate all along, despite the media's misconstruing of the narrative by calling it xenophobic.

"Shortly after taking office Joe Biden even canceled the US government investigation into the origins of the virus in a China lab … now they're saying 'Most likely it came out of the Wuhan lab,' … The media and the Democrats are now admitting that I was right."

As one of the final topics of the night, Trump commented on November's voting scandals that plagued the 2020 presidential election — with results that the former President is still willing to challenge.

He called the election results "the crime of the century," which then inspired the crowd to chant TRUMP WON. With specific attention to contested states from the election, such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Trump ensured the crowd that ongoing efforts from his legal team have challenged the states to recently look at the voting scandals "very, very seriously" hinting at an update on the way.

"Mountains of evidence, including on camera in the middle of the night when ballots where pulled from under the tables. After Republican poll watchers were kicked the hell out … And people came in to stuff the ballot boxes. Now they're going to delete thousands of names. Why the didn't you delete them before the election?"

Trump added, "If we don't figure it out we're not gonna be in a position to win in 2022 or 2024. We'll never stop fighting for true results of this election."

Acknowledging the strong base of voters, followers and rational Americans turned off by the lies of corrupt media and Democratic leadership, Trump reminded the crowd — and millions of viewers tuning in — that his MAGA movement is built on "strength and peace and law and order," and defined it as "a movement based on common sense."

"His corrupt establishment is censoring, blacklisting and persecuting people who call them on out on their flagrant lies," announced Trump, going after the heads of Silicon Valley that banned the President against the opinion of 70 million Americans that voted for him.

In conclusion to the evening's speech, Trump reminded the American people about the American principles that his platform continues to fight for, and what the future may hold for Americans if Republicans are voted back into the White House.

"We will break up Big Tech monopolies, reject left-wing cancel culture, and we will restore the right to free speech in America. We will protect innocent lives, we will defend our constitution and we will proudly uphold Judeo-Christian values and principles of our nation's founders.

"We will make American powerful again. We will make American wealthy again. We will make America strong again. We will make American proud again. We will make American safe again. And we will make America great again."
