Taylor Lorenz Hopes Biden 'Rots In Hell and Rests in Piss'
"Rots in hell and rests in piss."
On Sunday, Joe Biden's office announced that the former president had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Politics aside, cancer is the scariest word in the English language. Many, if not all of us, have experienced or known someone to experience the disease. Anyone politicizing the announcement ought to be condemned and remembered for that.
However, it is not the supporters of the other party who are making news with grotesque comments about Biden's diagnosis. It is Taylor Lorenz, the far-left former Washington Post tech reporter.
On Monday, Lorenz expressed on social media that she hopes Biden "rots in hell and rests in piss."
"Hopefully he rots in hell and rests in piss," wrote Lorenz in a post that also included a screenshot of a facetious 2019 Vice article misconstruing a Biden campaign ad with the headline: "Joe Biden: It Would Be an Insult to My Dead Son for Everyone to Have Healthcare."
As Community Notes, well, notes, the genesis of Lorenz's reason for rooting for Biden's death is based on a facetious 2019 Vice article misconstruing a Biden campaign ad.
Put simply, Biden never said what the article headline claimed he did--that it would be an insult to his dead son for everyone to have healthcare.
But, again, Biden's past comments or political career are not the point. Lorenz wished him death one day after it was announced he had cancer. And it's not the first time.
In April, Lorenz shared a post with the following text: "RIP Joe Biden 1942-2025. You were always a racist fucking monster, and will not be missed."
Lorenz commented that the fake post got her "hopes up."
For such a strong advocate for healthcare for all, Lorenz sure takes pleasure in death or the idea of other people dying.
Recently, she told CNN that she considers Luigi Mangione "morally good." For context, Mangione is charged with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Speaking of Thompson, Lorenz told Piers Morgan in December that she felt a sense of "joy" when hearing that the father of two had been shot dead.
"Why would you be in such a celebratory mood about the execution of another human being?" Morgan asked Lorenz on his podcast. "Aren’t you supposed to be on the caring, sharing left where, you know, you believe in the sanctity of life?"
"I do believe in the sanctity of life and I think that’s why I felt, along with so many other Americans, joy, unfortunately," she responded.
This woman is nuts and almost certainly needs to be placed in a padded room. Like, immediately.
Nonetheless, we are praying for Biden and his family.
