OutKick's College Football Gambling Picks For Week 13 2021
We had a nice double winner weekend in college football and the NFL last week. We went 7-5 in college football, running our season record to 67-66 and we went a fantastic 5-1 in the OutKick NFL six pack to run our record to 41-26 on the year in the NFL.
Can we double up on winners again this weekend?
Of course we can.

We will be in Auburn for the Iron Bowl with the final stop of the OutKick regular season campus bus tour. We will have been to Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida on the tour since we started back in September. And the OutKick bus tour has been to every SEC state but Missouri and Kentucky over the past several months. (I'm sorry to Missouri, I'll make it to a game next year. We didn't go to the state of Kentucky, but we did see Kentucky play.)
It's been awesome to see so many of you on the road this fall.
We will finish off our fall on the road next week in Atlanta with a pre-game show for the SEC title game.
But in the meantime let's make some money starting with the Egg Bowl on Thursday night.
Ole Miss at Mississippi State -1.5
The Egg Bowl tomorrow is going to be one hell of a fun ride, it's Mike Leach vs. Lane Kiffin and both Mississippi teams have strung together impressive seasons. (Even more so if the blown call against Memphis hadn't stood and State had gotten that victory.)
So what happens in this one?
I feel like Mississippi State is healthier and playing better down the stretch run of the season than Ole Miss is. So give me the Bulldogs to win at home in a game I can't wait to kick back and watch on Thursday night.
Kansas State +3 at Texas
Texas has lost six games in a row against every kind of competition imaginable.
So if I have a chance to bet against Texas right now, I'm betting against Texas.
Horns down, give me the Wildcats to cover and win this one as well.
Missouri +14.5 at Arkansas
Left for dead early in the season, Mizzou has won three of their last SEC four games and now rolls into Arkansas where the Razorbacks are attempting to get to eight wins in Year Two with Sam Pittman.
So what happens?
I think this one will be tight until late when the Razorbacks pull away -- Arkansas wins by ten, but that means Mizzou covers by 4.5 points.
Go Tigers.
Cincinnati at ECU +14.5
General rule: bet on the team with the least pressure in the College Football Playoff race.
Especially when that team's at home.
The Pirates get us a cover and give the Bearcats a scare.
Florida State +2.5 at Florida
With Dan Mullen gone, the Gators are the team that doesn't care about making a crappy bowl game in a battle of 5-6 teams.
Meanwhile Seminole fans would be ecstatic to beat Florida and get to a bowl game after the way this season started. When given a choice, bet on the college football team that actually cares about making, or playing in, a bowl game.
The Seminoles cover and win outright, but take the points just to be safe.
Ohio State at Michigan +9.5
At some point in time, Jim Harbaugh has to give Ohio State a real run in Ann Arbor.
Right?
Right?
I feel like this is the year for Michigan to give the Buckeyes a scare and double digits feels like too many in this game.
Go blue.
Alabama at Auburn +19.5
As I said above, we'll be at this game for the final campus stop of the OutKick bus tour -- we will do a live show at Stats sports bar in Atlanta next Saturday before the SEC Championship Game -- and I've just seen too many Iron Bowls where it looks like Auburn has nothing to play for and Alabama fans are white knuckled late in the game.
Auburn gives the Tide a run in the first half and then fades late.
But not before covering.
I just don't think this Alabama team is that great, honestly, and picking them to win by twenty in a rivalry game is a bridge too far.
Penn State at Michigan State, the under 52.5
Two Big Ten East coaches who just got lucrative ten year contract extensions battle to see who will be in third place, potentially, in the division.
I think Penn State's defense can take this game into the mud and keep it there.
So give me the under and don't worry about the final score.
Vanderbilt +31.5 at Tennessee
Yes, Vanderbilt is the worst team in the SEC. But if they beat Tennessee to finish the season, Commodore fans would be walking on air and some would consider the entire season a success. That's how much Vandy hates Tennessee.
Josh Heupel's Tennessee offense is surging, but a 32-point margin in any SEC game feels too high for this Vols team.
Vols by 24, but give give me the Commodores for the cover.
West Virginia at Kansas +15.5
Who's going to break up the sudden Jayhawk football dynasty?
Kansas beat Texas and almost beat TCU in the past two weeks.
Now I'm getting 14.5 points at home against West Virginia? I can't believe I'm saying this, but give me the Jayhawks and the points.
Texas A&M at LSU, the under 46.5
Does LSU care at all about this game? I have no idea.
Neither do you.
But this Aggie defense has tended to be strong enough to drive games under the number all season long, and I'm betting that continues this week too.
The defenses dominate, which is why you should hop on the under.
Clemson at South Carolina +11.5
Shane Beamer's Gamecocks team found a way to get bowl eligible against Auburn last weekend. Now they have Clemson coming to town with zero pressure.
Yes, Clemson is playing far better, but this feels like a rivalry game where South Carolina competes much more than they have lately.
Give me the Gamecocks to cover.
Oklahoma +4.5 at Oklahoma State
Oklahoma hasn't lost this rivalry game in six years, and they've won 15 of the past 17 in the series. Sure, the Cowboys could pull off the win this year, but I think it's premature to make the Sooners this big of an underdog.
Give me a prideful Oklahoma bunch to win this game outright.
And even if they don't win, I'll take the 4.5 points in my back pocket and feel good about a Sooner cover.
