Outkick the Show: Monday, June 22, 2020
On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared the most recent positive data on the coronavirus front.
Clay also commented on NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace and his situation at Talladega over the weekend. Clay believes NASCAR’s comments were appropriate and hopes the truth will come out. Clay then commented on up-and-coming quarterback Arch Manning, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez and their combined efforts to buy the New York Mets, Brett Favre and his questionable comments about Colin Kaepernick, comparing him to Pat Tillman in hero status. “The idea that anyone with a functional brain would compare Colin Kaepernick to Pat Tillman is frankly an insult to Pat Tillman’s memory. Brett Favre sounds like an absolute imbecile for making this comparison.”
Clay's comments on Deadspin were next on the docket, with Clay calling them out for questioning their call for The Masters to change their name because of supposed slavery connotations. “This is what happens when stupid people make stupid decisions,” said Travis.
Clay then talked about Tua Tagovailoa and his crush on much-older country singer Shania Twain, then wrapped up by sharing his thoughts on Eagles TE Dallas Goedert getting sucker punched in a bar fight.
