Outkick the Show: Monday, July 6, 2020

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis shared the most recent positive and underreported news on the coronavirus front. Clay went on to discuss ESPN’s hiring of failed quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Patrick Mahomes’ new contract extension, three reasons why college football in the spring is a bad idea, his opinion on Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott’s decision to cut his exorbitant salary by 12% and other lesser-paid employees in the conference by 10%, Harvard’s decision to charge full tuition for their classes being online this next year, and Major League Baseball's struggle with their testing protocols. Clay also talked about Peter King being offended by hot dog eating contest, President Trump and his spat with NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, and finished by calling out the NBA and their upcoming jerseys. Said Travis, “You’ll notice the NBA will not have anything about Hong Kong on their jerseys. I call out the NBA for selective political endorsements and I also call them out in a massive way for not recognizing the human rights of a billion Chinese people.”
