Outkick Readers Get to Pick Johnny Manziel's Halloween Costume

Rough day at the office or at school?

Well, Outkick is about to make your day much better.

So yesterday I got an email from reader Scott S.:

"I'm begging you to give your readers what we crave and what the Internet deserves. Is there a bigger national story on Halloween than JFF's costume choice?  Can you ask your readers to give you ideas and will you propose some of your own?

JFF holds unlimited troll power over the universe and the Internet is in jeopardy of extinction if he chooses wisely. Let's help J. Football narrow the choices because after all, you know he reads OKTC."

Immediately I recognized how brilliant the idea was.

In case you need a refresher, last year Johnny Manziel dressed up as Scooby Doo for Halloween and Outkick almost broke the Internet when we posted those pictures. The Scooby Doo costume sent Manziel off on a national whirlwind. Before he was Scooby Football, Manziel was a good player most of you guys didn't really know much about.

After Scooby Football and the road win over Alabama, he'd become a legend.

So the road to the Heisman trophy really started the moment Manziel put on the Scooby Doo costume.

This is why I have a public email address, read all my emails, and also read every Twitter at mention I get. Because, by and large, Outkick the Coverage readers are really smart, funny, and full of good ideas. See, your mom really wasn't lying!

After reading this email I reached out to Johnny, who says he reads the site every day, to ask him two things: 1. did he have a costume already decided for this year? and 2. would he be open to letting Outkick readers vote on what his Halloween costume should be this year?

And we're in luck.

Because Johnny's willing to let you guys vote on what his Halloween costume should be this year.

Yes, this is going to be epic.

I've got ten costume ideas that I wrote down last night, but I'm not including any of them yet because I'm going to allow your collective brilliance to shine on Twitter and I want to see your ideas. Stop working or studying for class, we need your best Johnny Manziel Halloween costume ideas. You can tag me your suggestions on Twitter, email me, or make a suggestion using the hashtag #johnnyhalloween

Ultimately we'll decide on ten nominees -- yes, don't worry, last year's Scooby Doo costume will be included as one of the ten nominees as well -- and then let Outkick readers vote on what the best costume would be.

Yeah, your week just got a whole lot better.

This is going to be awesome.
