Offseason Facility Upgrades: Alabama vs. Oregon
The business of college football is being number one in everything. That is why two of the hottest programs decided it would be beneficial to upgrade their football facilities. Alabama and Oregon both unveiled their new improvements this summer and needless to say, both are unbelievable. Since these two teams can't square off on the field yet, we might as well have them compete somehow. Have a look and see which team you think has the nicer digs.

This match up is not even close. Alabama's looks really nice, until you see what Phil Knight Nike money will do.
Alabama
Let's take a look at the players' lounges that Oregon and Alabama get to enjoy.
Alabama
The Crimson Tide have a beautiful display of jerseys from all of Nick Saban's players at Alabama to have been drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft. That is a pretty sweet idea, and one that will be a very good recruiting tool. Still, other schools probably do the same thing in some way. I don't know of another school that has a barber shop of its own in the football team facility. Not only is that an incredible idea, but look at those crazy white chairs! Would that be comfortable? I have no idea, but you better believe I would sit down and find out for myself.
I'm giving Oregon this point without much debate. In fact, I'm giving them an extra point because I don't want this to end in a tie and they went the extra mile by installing a barbershop pole.
That makes the final score from me:
Oregon - 6 Alabama - 5
What do you guys think? I'm jealous of both.
I hope this match up happens on the field soon. It's possible that these two powerhouses could meet in the BCS Championship this season, and even more likely that they will meet once the BCS moves to the 4-team playoff system.
