Nancy Pelosi Acts Like A Child When Asked About Kevin McCarthy's Opposition Of Masks

What may be the runner-up in D.C.'s list of dumbest headlines this week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy a "moron" due to glib accusations of anti-science rhetoric coming from the GOP.

Seen leaving the Capitol, Speaker Pelosi was asked about Minority Leader McCarthy's critique of a returning mask mandate, based on a Capitol Physician's announcement, that's been heavily touted by Democrats.

Pelosi slighted McCarthy by saying, "He's such a moron."

Leader McCarthy tweeted on Tuesday that Democrats like Pelosi, demanding continued restrictions from 2020's pandemic year, continue to stifle the nation:

"Make no mistake — The threat of bringing masks back is not a decision based on science, but a decision conjured up by liberal government officials who want to continue to live in a perpetual pandemic state."

During a follow-up interview, Speaker Pelosi was asked about her mockery of McCarthy, where she repeatedly chanted "science" as the default answer for all moments of crisis or question.

Leaning on an accusation that Republicans counter the position of "science" — defined by the CDC's opinion — after refusing to wear masks on Wednesday, Speaker Pelosi's aggressive take against her political opposites continues in trend since her first declarations from Chinatown in 2020.

Only days removed from ruling that stated vaccinated Americans can drop mask wearing after their vaccine, D.C. leadership and Nancy Pelosi's push for mask mandates is carried with low confidence in positive outcome, with a lack of data to show for their updates.

A report from Townhall highlighted "findings do not support the hypothesis that SARS-CoV-2 transmission rates decrease with greater public mask use."

McCarthy and Texas Rep. Chip Roy made the news for speaking out against the mask mandate after calling the ruling a blockade in their path to fulfill constitutional duties. Ted Cruz criticized the vaccine's heightened media campaign, that declared transmissibility a non-issue if individuals were to be fully vaccinated, which has now seen a false promise of freedom for vaccinated Americans. 

Speaker Pelosi's own state of California chose to break CDC guidelines when Los Angeles County brought back masks for vaccinated Americans — a blatant defiance of the science.
