Max Fried-Trevor Bauer Pitcher's Duel Was For The Ages

Atlanta's Max Fried and Cincinnati's Trevor Bauer delivered an absolute SHOW in game 1's clash of the titans. Bauer went 7 2/3 innings with 12 punch outs on just 2 hits, while Fried powered through 7 strong on 6 hits and five K's.

Check out these pitches that were completely un-hittable.

Seems that Max Fried got his hands on some Clayton Kershaw tape. He makes Reds' slugger Aristides Aquino look like he's never played baseball before. Fried's emergence as a star is exactly what Atlanta needs after losing ace Mike Soroka to a torn Achilles.

Couldn't leave out some footage of the eventual National League Cy Young winner turning grown men into tee-ballers. Incredibly refreshing to watch pitching dominate any game after a 60-game season of juiced baseballs and homers.

Saved the best for last as Trevor Bauer delivered a celebration of his performance in the form of a tomahawk chop.

Trevor Bauer never gave in to PC culture and he's making the sport better by forcing his personality on us everyday. Not that you have to like everything he does, but he is setting an example that all players should feel free to be themselves. Ideal that the league's best pitcher is knee deep in player freedom in a sport that shuns it.

Braves-Reds is still tied 0-0 heading to extra innings and we hope to see these two monsters square off again!
