L.A. Galaxy Player Released Due To Wife's Social Media Posts

The L.A. Galaxy released Serbian winger Aleksandar Katai Friday due to his wife's social media posts during the riots. Tea Katai sent out two known references to the riots -- including "Black Nikes Matter," one translated to "kill the sh*t" and another where she reportedly used “disgusting cattle" to describe protestors -- via Instagram Story, the posts were then screencapped, posted on r/LAGalaxy and that eventually led to the team releasing Katai by Friday.

Aleksandar  Katai, 29, appeared in two matches for the Galaxy and was left trying to put his athletic career back together via an Instagram apology. Tea Katai's Instagram page is locked; it's unclear if she issued an apology.
