Iowa Is The Latest State To Regain Sanity, Ban Critical Race Indoctrination

The battle over critical race theory being taught in Iowa schools is officially over now that Governor Kim Reynolds has signed a law aimed at the academic concept being pushed hard by liberals who view it as teaching children about systemic racism while conservatives, like Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert (R) see it as Democrats wanting "to teach our children to hate each other."

Iowa House Bill 802 (read the full bill here) will "ban teaching certain concepts, such as that the U.S. or Iowa is systemically racist," according to the Des Moines Register. Reynolds joins Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in this battleground that has DeSantis pledging to "make sure there's not a single school board member who supports critical race theory."

In Iowa, the law will ban teaching:

“Critical Race Theory is about labels and stereotypes, not education. It teaches kids that we should judge others based on race, gender or sexual identity, rather than the content of someone’s character,” Reynolds announced via a statement. “I am proud to have worked with the legislature to promote learning, not discriminatory indoctrination.”
