Fauci Says Xmas Is Unlikely But Halloween Should Definitely Be Celebrated
After declaring Christmas an uncertainty on Face The Nation last Sunday (Oct. 3), Dr. Anthony Fauci is now U-turning on his doom and gloom narrative by encouraging Americans to celebrate Halloween — approaching in several weeks. Fauci stopped by CNN to speak with Dana Bash on the probability that parents can take their children out for Halloween.
“It’s a good time to reflect on why it’s important to get vaccinated,” announced Fauci, considering the nation's vaccination rate a good omen for outdoor public gatherings to resume. “But go out there and enjoy Halloween.”
When Fauci spoke with Margaret Brennan a week ago, he stated that a lack of boosters and vaccinations have made gatherings for Christmas questionable. Vaccinations have yet to show any sign of mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
As of Oct. 10, 57 percent of the United States population have been fully vaccinated. Fauci also encouraged parents to help improve vaccination rates among children as the Pfizer-BioNTech seeks approval from the FDA for children, ages 5-11, to be eligible for inoculation.
Several Nordic countries stopped administrating the Moderna vaccine due to a higher likelihood of heart inflammation for younger males, ages 12-17.
“The CDC and its partners are actively monitoring reports of myocarditis and pericarditis after COVID-19 vaccination,” announced the Centers.
