Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Says She is ‘No Bulls**t’ And Could Primary Chuck Schumer in 2022

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) — calling her “AOC” is “disrespectful” but buy her $65 “AOC” shirts now — is a no-bullshit kind of person. At least that’s what she said about herself on Monday morning. Ocasio-Cortez, who doesn’t “play coy,” wouldn’t rule out primarying Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in 2022, though her future plans are not yet final.

“It’s a hard thing to say, too. We’ve had to deal with a fascist president and Mitch McConnell,” Ocasio-Cortez said when asked her timetable on a decision. “There are things you can do in the minority. There are also things you couldn’t do with this minority because Senate rules changed.”

Ocasio-Cortez wouldn’t answer whether the Democrats’ chances of losing their House majority in 2022 would affect her decision.

“I’m not sure about that either,” she says. “For me, I don’t make these decisions based on these short-term factors.”

“If I want to have a child, I would want my child – or my nieces or nephews – to have guaranteed health care by the time they’re my age. And freedom from want. I’m also very indecisive.”

The Democrats would take over the Senate majority if the party wins both seats in Georgia in Tuesday’s runoff senatorial election. Should both Jon Ossoff (D) and the radical Raphael Warnock (D) win, the Senate will be 50-50, with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris settling the tie. In the U.K. book Paddy Power, David Perdue (R) and Ossoff  (D) are in a dead heat, while Warnock is favored over Kelly Loeffler (R).

The future direction of the Democratic Party is up in the air. Sunday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was reelected in a narrow vote after her party lost seats, but the 117th Congress will likely be Pelosi’s last as speaker. And if Schumer is pushed out in two years, the party will be influenced even more by the progressive wing. Though Ocasio-Cortez says she isn’t ready to lead the Democratic Party as of now, her voice among the progressives is growing.

For now, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a congresswoman selling overpriced, low-quality sweatshirts. Want one?

At least is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a no-bullshit kind of person, right?

  1. Fascist, hahahahahahahahah. This lady is a clown. Freedom from want? Another classic line. Let’s just tax the hell out of everyone who works for a living or runs a business with their blood, sweat and tears just so AOC’s children, or nieces and nephews can have everything they want in life. Shut the fuck up and keep chasing away those Amazon jobs dumb ass. If you have to tell someone you are a no bull shit person you are a bull shit person.

  2. This is off topic, but the older I get I think the U.S. should change the voting age to 30. The only deviation from that is if you can prove you’ve worked 10 years and have paid bills. Nobody in their teens or early 20’s should be allowed to dictate how this country should be run. Sorry, but that’s just my opinion. AOC and Bernie Sanders play to the young, uneducated, uninformed youth of our country. Even kids who are going to college seem to be given too much power. Yes, I know, the argument against what I’m typing is that they should have the right to have a say in what the country should look like in their future, but unless you’ve actually lived life like adults do and have dealt with real world issues, you shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
I’m not concerned with opposing views to mine, but this is just how I personally feel.

  3. She’s this generation’s Nancy Pelosi. She’ll be around forever. She knows whose palms to greast to assure re-election in her district every single year, and/or her local voting base’s stupidity is represented by her. But she has ZERO appeal outside of her district so will never be able to run for anything other than House. But she will always be there, get rich off the taxpayers, and die old. We’re going to be cursed with her presence for the rest of our lives.

  4. She is dumb and dangerous. She is in the henhouse and loves power. She is not going away. Biden is the first appetizer on the menu. America is next, especially if the Republicans don’t learn how to play offense. It may already be too late, especially if Georgia tumbles.

  5. Geez, someone is insecure. She sounds like Shaq going after Rudy Gobert. Let me interpret this for AOC in full valley girl voice.

“Hey! Hey! (Waving and Whistling) Attention! Quick reminder you guys that I’m still like super awesome, okay? Everyone says so! Like, lots of followers here! And I AM smart, like, REALLY, super, smart, like, ok? Yeah, and I just talked about a baby! Omg! So, yeah, talk about me more now. Right, like I just really needed to point that out, okay bye!”

  6. Oh look, the spoiled brat who ran 10,000 jobs out of her district, then claimed her constituents were killing each other over bread…. because they didn’t have jobs.

I would absolutely love this. Do it, AOC. Keep tearing apart your party from the inside.
