Airbnb Offers Chance To Stay At McCallister Family 'Home Alone' House

Wondering if and when you'll ever get a chance to use those Micro Machines and Starting Lineups again? Well, wonder no more. Much like Kevin McCallister, you too can use your 90s toys for a little target practice and home burglary prevention in suburban Chicago. The famed Home Alone house is available for rent on Airbnb.

But before ordering Little Nero's Pizza and steering clear of Fuller's bed, you'll have to check Airbnb on December 7th for details on pricing for a one night stay.

Per Airbnb's listing, your stay in Winnetka, IL will be hosted by Kevin's brother, Buzz. No word on whether his girlfriend's tagging along, but Woof!

Buzz, played by actor Devin D. Ratray, mentions in the listing that the house is available because of yet another McCallister family vacation. (Peter McCallister must have some deep pockets.)

“Though we’re older and wiser now (I’ve even got my own security firm), we’re never too old for holiday hijinks. So while we’re away on vacation (all of us, this time), I’m inviting one crew of mischief makers to let their inner eight-year-olds run free in my childhood home on Dec. 12,” says Buzz.

Based on photos, the McCallister house comes complete with a candle lit mac-n-cheese dinner, enough wallpaper to please both of your dead grandmas, a battle plan to stifle the Wet Bandits, and more green and red than a Celtics-Bulls game.

And if you run out of things to do after watching Angels With Filthy Souls while mowing down a carton of ice cream, Buzz's listing adds that a member of the McCallister security team will show you around, arrange meals and gift you a LEGO set. If that isn't the holiday spirit, what is?

The house neighboring old man Marley's has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. That's an awfully big space for only 2 beds and one full bathroom. I guess the extra space leaves plenty of room for grown-up things such as orange juice, milk, bread, toilet paper and fabric softener.

The listing also offers free wifi and security cameras -- which would've been helpful around Christmas 1990.

Airbnb states that: "In honor of the first-ever stay at the McCallister home, Airbnb will make a one-time donation to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital."

Anyone booking the literal scene of the crime will have to be available on December 12th. The listing is for one night only and renters are responsible for their own travel.

To whoever lands this one-day only rental, please remember, go easy on the Pepsi.
