Football is a game of super secrecy. In the case of the Miami Dolphins, they haven’t yet revealed whether Tua Tagovailoa or Ryan Fitzpatrick is starting against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. However, Tagovailoa’s agent, Leigh Steinberg, appears to have provided a hint.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald details what Steinberg originally wrote on Facebook, before he realized he let the cat out of the bag and edited:
Tua Tagovailoa agent on Facebook first says heโs attending Sunday game to watch QB play vs. Bengals then edits to say heโs coming to watch Dolphins. ๐๐ค

It’s a weird circumstance where Tagovailoa doesn’t necessarily give Miami the best chance to win right now over Fitzpatrick, but Brian Flores and the Dolphins’ brass need to see what they have in Tagovailoa in case they’re in a position to potentially select another quarterback in an upcoming draft that is very deep in them. In addition to Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, and Kyle Trask are all potential first round picks.
