Actor, Comedian Bob Saget Reportedly Dead At 65

Longtime actor and comedian Bob Saget has reportedly passed away at the age of 65. TMZ first broke the news from sources close to Saget, who was found dead in Orlando, FL on Sunday. He was visiting as part of his comedy tour.

Hotel staff found the performer dead in his Ritz-Carlton hotel room at around 4 p.m. (EST). His cause of death remains unknown, per the report's communication with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

As part of his touring schedule, Saget appeared in Jacksonville Saturday night to perform at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Early Sunday morning, the performer posted a jovial recap of the event on Instagram — thanking his fans and accompanying acts for the "fun" evening.

His caption read:

"Okay, I loved tonight’s show @pontevedra_concerthall in Jacksonville. Really nice audience. Lots of positivity. Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences.

"Thanks again to @comediantimwilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a two hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it. A’ight, see you in two weeks Jan. 28 & 29 @pbimprov with my brother @therealmikeyoung - And check BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022 – – Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this shit. Peace out."

Saget's appearance was a motif for television audiences in the '90s: playing the role of Danny Tanner in the television hit "Full House" and as host of "America's Funniest Home Videos."

"Full House" ran from 1987-95 and featured Saget as Danny, the widowed father of three that remained noble through tough times and overtime work. His reputation from the show, and more energetic turn as host of AFHV, was contrasted by a crude style of stand-up that Saget avidly took on the road. Still, Saget found an audience. He attested to a deep passion for comedy and was set to perform in various cities until March.

Stay tuned with OutKick as details on the actor's passing develop.
