Aaron Rodgers Tests Positive for COVID-19. Will Not Play.

Out of all people, why Aaron Rodgers?

As first reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and is out for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

Rodgers informed his teammates a few minutes ago of his positive test. Meaning, Jordan Love will get his first NFL start versus Kansas City this weekend.

We've been robbed again of Rodgers vs. Mahomes. In the 2019 matchup, Mahomes missed the game with an injury.

I still like the Packers to win against this putrid Chiefs team.

UPDATE: According to Ian Rapoport, Aaron Rodgers was quoted as saying he’s been “immunized," but he is not vaccinated.
