Aaron Rodgers Gives $1 Million to Small Businesses

Videos by OutKick

Aaron Rodgers is the man. He’s the best QB in the NFL, coming off another MVP season. He’s soon going to show off his mind on Jeopardy!. And he just gave a significant boost to 80 small businesses. Top that.

Rodgers has donated $1 million to help locally-owned businesses in his hometown of Chico and all of Butte County, California.

“Small, locally owned businesses are the heart and soul of a community,” Rodgers said in a statement. “In the applications and the videos, it was heart-wrenching to hear about all the obstacles facing restaurants and retail establishments. So many of them are struggling just to stay in business but remain hopeful that there’s an end to this.”

While COVID has brought out the worst in many, it has brought out the best in others.

As Rodgers demonstrates, if you really want to make a change, go and actually make a change. You don’t have to make Aaron Rodgers money either. Every bit counts.

Props to Rodgers and all those who have contributed to help small businesses survive over the past 12 months.

Awesome.

  1. would be nice if athletes started calling out the covid hoax … giving $$ to small businesses at this point is like giving a man that was just shot in the chest a band aid.

not knocking rodgers or barstool but it’s seriously time to stand up to the hoax virus and call out the mask bs. all humans are essential. all businesses matter.

  2. More power to Aaron, small business is critical to keeping the country more conservative. In my opinion, small business owners are more likely to value and therefore stand up for our Constitution. Aaron will retire a Packer, Go Pack Go!!
