Rocco Figaretti accomplished something Friday at 4-years-old that golfers chase their entire lives. He sank a hole-in-one at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia and his dad has it all on video so Rocco can forever brag about this shot on the 55-yard No. 1 hole.
It’s been a pretty wild month for the hole-in-one community. Earlier this month we had the woman make a hole-in-one on the 102-yard 16th hole at Bandon Dunes’ new 18-hole Sheep Ranch course – with her putter.
As you can see in both of these cases, it’s not about pin seeking with your 60-degree wedge. It’s about the final result. Get it there and let fate take over. “To say I’m proud would be an understatement,” dad Mario Figaretti said on Facebook. As you should, pops. Great job, Rocco!

Joe, you missed an important detail. The kid did it in Crocs.
With a cross-handed grip no less.
I’ve been golfing since 1960 and I have never come closer than a couple of feet to a hole in one and neither did I know one that did have one. .
This youngster will have something to brag about to his golfing partners for the rest of his life.
I would of laid it on thick at every par 3.
