Bally Sports Braves Girl Has America's Attention, But Nobody Can Actually Watch Her

Veteran Bally Sports sideline reporter Ashley ShahAhmadi clocked in for Day 1 of her summer job for the Atlanta Braves last night, leaving her cushy job with the Hornets to re-join America's Team.

She took to social media to celebrate her big first night – against the Red Sox, too! – with a cute little picture that obviously grabbed the internet's attention. It went somewhat viral, because A) Ashley has a lot of fans, and B) she's hot.

There's no two ways about it – Ashley ShahAhmadi isn't just an electric name on paper. She's a cleanup hitter for all 30 MLB teams right now. Easy.

Anyway, here was the problem … pretty much nobody who wanted to watch Ashley give dugout reports last night during Atlanta's 4-2 win could, because Bally is an absolute sh*tshow and involved in enough carrier disputes to make your heads spin.

This is affecting a ton of people in the baseball world, and it's really obvious in Atlanta. Basically, right now, Xfinity customers can't watch the Braves because Bally and Comcast are currently bickering about money.

So, poor Ashley checked in for work last night, turned on most of the internet, and then went off to give reports to pretty much dead air for three hours.

Sad.

Bally Sports brings back Braves girl to save ratings

Whew. Just a tough scene. First day back on the job and you find yourself in the middle of a dick-measuring contest between Bally (Diamond Sports) and Xfinity (Comcast).

And it's not just folks with TVs and cable. This extends to the MLB App, too. If you're in the Atlanta area right now and want to watch the Braves – and Ashley – on MLB.TV, too bad. Blacked out.

Now, personally, I haven't been an actual cable subscriber in years. I ditched DirectTV in like 2019 and just done streaming ever since. I've been through them all – Sling, YouTube TV, Fubo, you name it. They all used to be great, but now they're getting pricey, which I expected.

So I, like any great American, just illegally watch most, if not all, sporting events. Pretty simple. Honestly, it's really easy. Take five minutes to figure it out and you'll never go back. We make things so damn complicated in this country.

Anyway, I was able to watch the Red Sox lose to the Braves last night on NESN (the Red Sox station) thanks to that. Had I known Ashley was making her Bally debut on dead air in Atlanta, I would've flipped over to show her some love. Oh well. Next time. Tonight, perhaps!

Let's check some of the comments on the way out:

Too bad most of us will never SEE her.

Figure it out and get the damn games back on TV.

damm she so bad.

okay, getting my Fubo account now.

Fix it Bally!!!!

Needed a boost in the ratings so they add something men will simp over. Touché Bally.

That's a good point, by the way. File for bankruptcy and having trouble paying the bills? Maybe bring in someone like Ashley and see if that gives the 'ol Nielson radar the kick in the pants it needs as we head into summer. Worth a shot!

Anyway, welcome back to Atlanta, Ashley. Braves are a wagon. Hopefully, the local Atlanta customers will get to see them again some day.
