Morgan Wallen Breaks Silence On Felony Arrest With Simple Message

Morgan Wallen has finally addressed his arrest as he faces multiple felony charges.

The country music superstar was arrested in early April on three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of Chief's in Nashville.

It was just the latest issue for the entertainer, and by far and away his most serious. Three felony charges is no joke.

Now, he's finally addressed the situation with a pretty direct statement.

Morgan Wallen addresses arrest.

Wallen is performing Saturday night in Oxford at Ole Miss in a makeup concert, and people have been wondering if he'd address the arrest. Well, no need to wait because he's now checked that box.

"I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility. I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change," Wallen tweeted to his massive following Friday night.

It didn't take long for fans to rush to social media with reactions to the statement from the "Neon Eyes" singer. Check out some of the responses below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com. Let's roll!

Will Wallen finally do a little growing up and get out of his own way? Only he has the answer to that question, but there's no need for his constant antics.

The man is outrageously talented, but just seems to slip up once every year or two. It's always self-inflicted wounds with Wallen.
