Zack Greinke Is The Most Interesting Man In Baseball

A local reporter asked Houston Astros right-hander Zack Greinke about his career milestones, and his answer was hilarious.

WATCH:

"The only milestone I pay attention to is that I wanna hit 10 home runs and 10 stolen bases," Grienke said with a straight face.

"Then I got traded to the American League and made it way harder for that to happen. Then I got caught stealing for the first time ever in Houston because I wanted to steal so bad because I knew it might be my last chance, but then I got caught wanting it too much."

Best part about this clip is that he is 100% serious. For baseball fans who have followed Greinke over the years--it is abundantly clear that he finds obscure ways to entertain himself. How many borderline Hall of Fame pitchers tell reporters their biggest accomplishment was that they stole 10 bases? Chances are that we'll never see this again.

So let's enjoy Zack Greinke and his bizarre way of thinking BEFORE he retires. The 37-year-old former Cy Young winner is a dying breed in a sport that desperately needs more unique personality. Never change, Zack.
