Wilson’s coming off two solid seasons with the crosstown rival New York Mets and would help bolster an already strong bomber’s bullpen.
Over the last three years Justin Wilson has a 3.18 ERA & 3.63 FIP. Hopefully the Yankees really do have sniffs on him. pic.twitter.com/Cqwg4ypjQc— Joe 🗽 🗽 (@Yankeelibrarian) February 13, 2021
Nothing is in writing yet, but it seems the Yankees are looking for cheap arms that help that front office stay away from the luxury line. Definitely a new Yankees strategy and we’ll see how it pays off.
