Xavier McKinney Trolls Skip Bayless After Giants Send Cowboys Packing

Xavier McKinney was one of the top safety prospects available in the 2020 NFL Draft. After a successful career at Alabama, many had linked him to the Dallas Cowboys to help with their ongoing secondary issues.

But Skip Bayless apparently didn’t want him.

On draft night, the Fox Sports 1 personality tweeted out “Glad the Giants took Bama safety, Xavier McKinney, I did not want the Cowboys to take.” Quite the Bayless take, but also in Bayless fashion, it backfired.

The New York Giants beat Dallas on Sunday for a potential postseason appearance, and McKinney had the game-saving interception in the end zone. Yes, it has been several months, but the rookie defensive back hasn’t forgetten the unnecessary shot from Bayless.

His response … was perfect.

Bayless takes more L’s than the NFC East.
