Disguised NYPD Officer to Will Cain: 'The Job is Dead'

In a feature for Fox & Friends Weekend, Will Cain sat down with an NYPD officer to discuss anti-police sentiment on officer morale.

The current NYPD officer wanted to be incognito, thus the disguised voice and shaded face.

"When I became a police officer, many years ago, I never thought I would have to put this uniform on and be looked at as the enemy. And to be hated," the cop told Cain.

More troubling, the officer expressed concerns about the future of the essential profession:

"The term for NYPD that is going around is that the 'job is dead.'" Adding, "you'd be crazy to take this job now in this day and age."

In previewing more of the interview that will air this weekend, Cain said officers are quitting, retiring, and that this problem extends beyond New York City.

Alarming.
