Wendy Williams Finally Addresses Alleged Fart During Filming Of Show

Something broke on the set of Wendy Williams’ talk show last January, but according to Williams, it wasn’t wind. Appearing on Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM, Williams addressed “FartGate,” denying that the noise heard during her talk show came from her backside. “I didn’t pass gas,” said Williams.

Shortly after the presumed butt bomb went viral, one of Williams' crew members claimed that the noise came from a sputtering air-gas tank that didn't have the proper hose. If you ask me, that excuse stinks.

Unwilling to accept blame for the blast, Williams deflected conversation from the rear-end to the front-end, explaining to Cohen that plenty of other noises regularly emit from her body: "I burp all the time, right there on camera. I sneeze and things like that. But, you know what? That's what people do when they're having regular conversation."

The appearance on Cohen's show marked the first time Williams publicly addressed "FartGate" since doing so from the scene of the crime - The Wendy Williams Show in January of 2020.
